چکیده
Background‘ACROSIS COVID-19 A g (NPS)’ kit (SG Medical, Seoul, Korea) is a newly developed severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) antigen-detection rapid diagnostic test (Ag-RDT) using surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS)-based lateral flow immunoassay (LFIA). We evaluated its clinical performance compared with STANDARD Q (SD Biosensor, Suwon, Korea), previously approved Ag-RDT.MethodsA total of 286 nasopharyngeal swab specimens were collected: 104 positive and 182 negative in SARS-CoV-2 real-time reverse-transcription polymerase-chain-reaction (rRT-PCR). SARS-CoV-2-positive divided according to the cycle threshold (Ct) value rRT-PCR. The ACROSIS was that Q.ResultsACROSIS showed significantly higher sensitivity than (92.3% vs. 85.6%, P = 0.02), especially 25 ≤ Ct < 30 (78.6% 42.9%). values RdRp/S genes for 95% detection rates by 25.8 23.0, respectively.ConclusionsThis first study Q. overall superior Q, 30. could be useful Ag even relatively low viral load specimens.

Rapid SARS-CoV-2 RT-LAMP assay setup using gene construct design approach
Background and Objective: The severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) is still an ongoing challenge in health system worldwide. Molecular detection methods including reverse transcription loop-mediated isothermal amplification (RT-LAMP) can help cutting off the transmission chain of the virus. In this study, prompt setting up of the RT-LAMP assays were investigated using ge...
متن کاملDevelopment of a Lateral Flow Immunoassay Using Recombinant Dense Granular Antigen (GRA) 7 to Detect Anti-Toxoplasma gondii IgG Antibodies
Toxoplasma gondii is an intracellular protozoan parasite that causes toxoplasmosis and is of medical importance in pregnant women and immunosuppressed patients. In recent years, many methods have been developed for the detection of infection caused by this parasite; however, most of the developed methods are not adequately sensitive. The dense granular antigen (GRA) ...
متن کاملSARS-CoV-2 infection: its psychiatric manifestations
Background: The clinical presentation of SARS-CoV-2 infection was initially dominated by respiratory symptoms. However the clinical spectrum is wide and neuropsychiatric syndromes are also a source of medical concern. Our aims are to present an atypical clinical presentation of SARS-CoV-2 infection characterized by auditory hallucinations and unusual behavior and to emphasize the diversity of ...
